Welcome to The Children's Courtyard for North Plainfield, Illinois! We are located at the corner of 127th Street and 248th Avenue. Our early childhood education program offers classes for children ages six weeks through 12 years old in our Infant, Toddlers, Two's, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-k, Junior Kindergarten, Before and After School programs.
Janaye Resendiz, Center Director, and the talented staff members at her school have many years of experience in the field and partake in various training opportunities throughout the year including CPR and First Aid, to maintain their DCFS required annual training for daycare staff. Each set of classroom teachers puts their special flair into their childcare curriculum which is based on High Scope philosophy!
We are committed to keeping you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. Families have access to live streaming video of their child's classroom, plus other real-time updates, with our exclusive mobile app for families, Sprout About. Assessments are completed throughout the year, and we offer family conferences twice a year to share your child's progress in the program.
For our Before and After School programs we bus to the following Elementary Schools: District 202 Eagle Point, Freedom, Lincoln and Walkers Grove, District 204 Peterson and District 308 Grande Park.

Gayle is also committed to helping teachers grow in their profession!

Amy started here in 2014 as a teacher and later became the Team Lead, Safety Captain and Bus Driver for School Agers! Amy was promoted to Assistant Director in February 2024 and is looking forward to learning new tasks as she continues to grow in the profession. She loves to work with children and families. She can't wait to help your children learn and grow!
