¡Bienvenido a The Children's Courtyard en Austin, TX! My name is Alexis Smith, and I am the director of the Metric location. Tengo más de 10 años de experiencia en enseñanza en la primera infancia. I began my journey with The Children's Courtyard as a Pre-K teacher. I became the director in October of 2022.

Our school offers Infant Care, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and School-Age programs that offer the perfect foundation for learning and development. Our top-notch curriculum, clean and safe environment, and team of professionals help us to stand out from other childcare centers in the area. To enhance our curriculum, we also offer Yoga, Spanish, and soccer classes for an additional small fee. We are a 3 star Texas Rising Star school and are nationally accredited through Cognia.

Early childhood education is an especially important time for children to build the foundation for the rest of their lives. As educators, we know how important it is to give each child the individualized care and attention they need to succeed. Our School Readiness Pathway curriculum has been designed to meet the developmental needs of each age group and our programs allow time for skill-based learning through play and hands-on exploration. Our teachers are committed to helping your child master all of those very important milestones by implementing our Aware, Care, and Share method. Teachers also participate in yearly trainings to stay up-to-date on best practices and child development.
